Jason focuses on understanding each client’s situation thoroughly to make sure that all investments are compatible with both client’s financial goals and personal goals.  He considers tax issues, changing markets, superannuation, and estate planning, and then builds an investment approach which includes listed securities, property, cash and hybrid investments.  Most importantly, Jason and all Townsville advisors treat every client as a client of this office rather than of a single advisor, ensuring that all clients benefit from the broad range of advisor expertise available here.

Industry Experience
Prior to joining Morgans Townsville, Jason worked for the National Australia Bank for seven years in commercial and retail banking roles and then for five years in accounting and financial planning organisations, looking after small businesses, partnerships, trusts, companies, and superannuation funds.  Jason has been with ABN AMRO Morgans since 2001 in the roles of stockbroker, client advisor, portfolio manager, and in-house tax advisor.

Areas of Interest and Expertise
In addition to his core focus on portfolio management, Jason, a registered Tax Agent, takes a particular interest in tax structuring, superannuation and trusts, and financial and estate planning.  He also looks after insurance issues and estate planning, and supervises the management of deceased estates.  Jason provides specialist assistance to all other Townsville advisors in these areas.
